Donegal County Council is seeking expressions of interest for leasing of the former Putting Green on Moville Green.

The lease will be a summertime lease for the next three years and applicants are being asked to outline their intended use of the Putting Green and how the proposal will benefit the local community of Moville.

Seamus Hopkins, Roads Area Manager with the Council has described the Putting Green as a beautiful scenic area overlooking Lough Foyle.  “The Putting Green is a wonderful resource not only for Moville but for the entire Inishowen Peninsula.  With some of the most scenic views over Lough Foyle, the Putting Green could be an ideal location for a wide range of activity” stated Mr. Hopkins.

He added “we are keen to ensure that the Putting Green will continue to be an important resource for the local community in Moville and we are asking those interested to outline how their proposal will benefit the local community.”

The successful applicant will be selected by the elected members of Inishowen Municipal District.
